 OBITUARY OF RALPH ANDREW MEEKS
November 23, 1978 to June 22, 2020

Ralph Andrew Meeks, also known as "Andy", age 41, resident of Coweta, OK departed this life on Monday, June 22, 2020 at his home in Coweta. Andy was born November 23, 1978 in Muskogee, Ok and was the son of Michael Edward and Teresa Gail (Meeks) Baujan. He was a 1998  graduate of Coweta High School. Andy attended Tulsa Community College and Rogers State Universality, Claremore, OK where he received his Associates Degree. He married the love of his life Meredith Leigh Neal on September 26, 2010 in Coweta, OK.  Andy worked for Wal-Mart for 18 years and was a service manager. He enjoyed fishing, video games, drawing, and spending time out doors.  Andy's wife and two children were his life and he loved taking the kids to the Zoo and Aquarium.

Andy is survived by his wife Meredith Meeks of the home in Coweta, two children, Kelsey Leigh Meeks Pulley and Andrew Hudson Meeks of Coweta, Ok; His parents Michael and Teresa Baujan of Coweta, OK; his sister Pamela Baujan of Coweta, OK; his brother Michael Baujan, Jr. of Nashville, TN; his maternal grandma Jean Olivean Meeks of Broken Arrow, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews, aunt, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. 

Andy was preceded in death by his maternal grandpa Ralph Meeks, Sr.; and his uncle Ralph Eugene Meeks, Jr.

Viewing will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday June 25, 2020 at Brown Family Funeral Home in Coweta, OK; A celebration of Andy's life will be held Friday June 26, 2020 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK with Rev. Brody Morris officiating.  Andy will be laid to rest at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Ok.

Pallbearers will be Adam Goss, Oliver Wilson, Daniel Campbell, Jeff Jones, James Wilson, and Tanner Robinson.  Honorary Pallbearer will be Bruce Baucom.

THE LIFE OF SAUL/PAUL

            Paul was born a Jew of the tribe of Benjamin.  He was also a Roman Citizen.  He was born in the Roman City of Tarsus.  In those days people had dual names.  Before he was known as apostle Paul, he was known as Saul of Tarsus.  Saul was his Hebrew name, Paul was his Roman name.  As Saul before his conversion he sought out the believers in Jesus.  He would hunt them down, bind them up and take them to Jerusalem to be killed.  Jesus did not change his name at his conversion.            Saul went to the high priest asking for letters to allow him entry into the synagogues at Damascus, so he could hunt down men and women that professed to be believers in Jesus.
