JOURNEY WITH COVID

 As most of you know my niece and her husband were both diagnosed with COVID back in August.  Gerson and Kristin Gonzalez.  Gerson was diagnosed first and put in the hospital.  He also had pneumonia. It was touch and go for many weeks. Praise God he is now home, after being in the hospital for 43 days. He needs more rehab to get his strength back so he can go back to work and support his family. Kristin was later diagnosed with COVID and put in a separate hospital for about two weeks, leaving their 4 children in the care of their aunt who is a medical doctor. We were so glad to have Kristin and the children back in services with us this past Sabbath.

Gerson's journey was so similar to Pastor David Ross's whom we lost back in May of this year. I was very concerned it would be the same outcome. God had other ideas. The doctors and nurses were so astounded in Gerson's  healing process.  He had been in rehab for a few weeks, but needed more rehab but the insurance wouldn't pay for another facility, so Kristin had to bring him home. He still needs more rehab to get his strength back. Please continue to pray for this family.

THE BOOK OF REVELATION

THE LIFE OF SAUL/PAUL

            Paul was born a Jew of the tribe of Benjamin.  He was also a Roman Citizen.  He was born in the Roman City of Tarsus.  In those days people had dual names.  Before he was known as apostle Paul, he was known as Saul of Tarsus.  Saul was his Hebrew name, Paul was his Roman name.  As Saul before his conversion he sought out the believers in Jesus.  He would hunt them down, bind them up and take them to Jerusalem to be killed.  Jesus did not change his name at his conversion.            Saul went to the high priest asking for letters to allow him entry into the synagogues at Damascus, so he could hunt down men and women that professed to be believers in Jesus.
