A CASE OF COVID-19

Good afternoon fellow bloggers and followers.  I am posting with a very heavy heart.  My nephew-in-law Gerson Gonzalez is very sick with COVID and in the hospital.  His wife and son have it also but they are at home. They aren't as sick as he is.  Many I know have had it and came through alright.  A few it only lasted about 3 days. Gerson is a minister in our church the Church of God (Seventh Day).  He is an Elder and assistant to our Pastor Elder Barry Mauldin.  

Our church organization just lost one of our Pastor's David Ross to COVID back in May of 2021.  He was in a hospital with a special machine that they hoped and prayed would save his life.  Sad to say it seemed to be helping at first, but after about 6 weeks in the hospital he passed away. He left behind a wife and 3 young daughters.  I am very concerned for my nephew now and want to ask everyone to pray for his full recovery.  He lost about 3 family members to COVID who lived in Guatemala. His youngest daughter had it last year but recovered.  Praying the girls do not get it this time. 

I don't know if Gerson took the shots or not, but it seems to me many who got the shot are coming down with COVID after being vaccinated.  Also many who wear masks all the time are getting sick.  Many doctors have said that the masks do not help, and actually harm because people who wear the masks all the time, their immune systems are to weak to fight of the virus. 

I had prayed this would be over by now.  I truly feel this has been worse than I thought it would be because so many are falling away from God.  I pray they see the need more and more to trust in him so He will heal our land.

Prayers for all of you.  Pray you are kept from getting this awful virus.

THE BOOK OF REVELATION

THE LIFE OF SAUL/PAUL

            Paul was born a Jew of the tribe of Benjamin.  He was also a Roman Citizen.  He was born in the Roman City of Tarsus.  In those days people had dual names.  Before he was known as apostle Paul, he was known as Saul of Tarsus.  Saul was his Hebrew name, Paul was his Roman name.  As Saul before his conversion he sought out the believers in Jesus.  He would hunt them down, bind them up and take them to Jerusalem to be killed.  Jesus did not change his name at his conversion.            Saul went to the high priest asking for letters to allow him entry into the synagogues at Damascus, so he could hunt down men and women that professed to be believers in Jesus.
