DR. GENE KIM "False Teacher?"
My husband found Dr. Gene Kim on YouTube. He is a Doctor of Theology and a pastor of a church. He seems to be a very knowledgeable man on truths of the Bible. We have enjoyed listening to him and he has had some wonderful lectures. One in particular we liked was a study
on Bible Truths. Another lecture we enjoyed was on the false prophets of today. He called out many well known preachers and organizations, big mega churches who are teaching false doctrine. According to him.
After listening to many of his lectures, I decided to look up what the internet had to say about him. They say his group is a cult. That was very sad to hear. He teaches, as I believe, we should go by the Bible and the Bible alone in our studies. The one translation recommended to go by is the King James Version. Comparing versions to this one, you will find verses left off of chapters, misquoted and and lines left out of verses.
In researching him, I found an article on the internet. Doctor Gene Kim is a pastor at San Jose, California Bible Baptist Church (pastor of a fairly large independent Baptist Church. You can find him on YouTube and the internet. There is a website Real Bible Believers. Dr. Kim believes in dispensationalism, KJV onlyism and bible believing truth. He has earned a Bachelor's, Master's and Doctorate degrees at Pensacola Bible Institute, Florida and the University of Berkeley at Berkeley, California.
He has over ten years experience in five ministries and pastor's two churches. After studying and debating with hundreds of Atheists, Religion-ist, and highly educated and deceived Christians, he is firmly convicted that REAL BIBLE-BELIEVING CHRISTIANITY is the only truth and promising joy in this world. It is his heavy burden to show this to the billions deceived in darkness.
A question was asked, "Why is Gene Kim so mean?" He follows the example of Paul. We rely on Paul's doctrine a lot to inform the way a Christian should live.
Look at 2 Corinthians 10:9 & 10 - especially verse 10: "That I may not seem as if I would terrify you by letters. For his letters, say they, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible." (Paul terrifies people with his letters, His speech is con-
temptiable (rude or crude).
Dr. Kim says the only thing that matters is the truth. He says just because a person is being mean or to correct doesn't matter. When the truth is spoken out, it may come out in a way that may offend you or upset you. If you want the truth, that bad, you won't care how it is presented to you. You won't care if it isn't all decorated up.
WIKI.com says, "Gene Kim preaches and believes in the doctrines of dispensationalism, pre-millennialism, OSAS (once saved, always saved, or eternal security), and the pre-tribulation rapture of the body of Christ. He is a pastor that is teaching his people that only the Apostles had the power to raise the dead, heal the sick, cast out devils, etc.
Gene Kim is a Ruckmanite. This is the agreeing with the teachings of Peter Ruckman, who held some odd views, including the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven being distinct from each other. Pastor Kim thinks earth is hollow and hell is inside. He also says all dogs go to heaven, but cats are the absolute worst. You might think he is joking around, as some sort of Christian "humor", but it's clear he's serious. (He quotes this belief from 1 Peter.)
He is an American entrepreneur, researcher, and author of a book "The Phoenix Project": A novel about IT, DevOps, and helping your Business win, Visible Ops Security, and the Visible Ops Handbook. He is best known as the founder of "Tripwire".
There is a video on YouTube "False Teacher Gene Kim - Exposed!"
On the internet check out: https://www.jesusisprecious.org/false_
doctrine/serpernt_seed.html. The "Serpent Seed" heresy perverts Genesis". Baptist Pastor Gene Kim teaches a bizarre "serpent seed, heresy. Dr. Kim teaches that Adam was the father of Abel; but Satan had sex with Eve and conceived Cain! (What???) He says he has 100% Picture Proof, Jesus married a black woman. (no where in scripture will you find Christ married or had children. Another false teaching.) He says he has a video that proofs that teaching.
Is Dr. Gene Kim a Cult??? Sounds like he is the leader of the group and has the final say on what the group believes. It's like the pot calling the kettle black as the old saying goes. He calls out a few mega churches and organizations that he says are Cults. The Seventh Day Adventist Church is one of them. The Church of God (Seventh Day) with Head-quarters in Denver, Colorado is often said to be a cult. (This is the church I am a member of.)
Note: The COG7 isn't a Cult. There is a Board of Directors made up of 12 men voted on by the membership body of the organization. There is a President of the General Conference that is appointed by the Board of Directors and answers to them. There is a Director of the General Con- ference that oversees the Superintendents of the Districts and District Boards of the church. We have more than one leader. We do not kick people out for not following all the doctrines taught or rules of the local leaders. A rule in place though is if you are teaching or preaching at a church you do not preach contradictory to the doctrines of the church. It is between you and God what you believe on a personal level. The doctrines of the COG7 are studied by the Ministerial Council of the Church in North America and Canada. This council is made up of the licensed ministers of the North America and Canadian Organization. They meet once a year to modify the doctrines as to how they have studied and learned to see more clearly the doctrines God put in place for us to live by. No one, minister, can change a doctrine. It is brought up to the council and discussed and then voted on.
