WHAT ABOUT THE CELEBRATION OF EASTER?

It's that time of year, that most Christians celebrate Easter Sunday.  Easter is a man made celebration.  In the bible it isn't commanded that we  celebrate Christ's birth or Resurrection.  We are to observe and Remember his Death.

Looking into the history of the Roman Catholic Church, you will see The RCC thought to change the day of worship from Saturday (the 7th day of the week) to Sunday (the first day of the week).  God didn't change the day of worship or his day of rest.  The RCC instigated Easter and Christ-mass to bring more people into their church.  Read this for yourselves, don't take my word for it.

Both holiday's are called pagan (heathen).  The bible tells us NOT to learn the way of the HEATHENS.  Just because you are in their midst, do not worship as they do.  My church doesn't celebrate either one.  We observe once a year on the 14th day of Nisan (first Jewish month of their calendar) the Lord's Supper Service.  Some call it the Last Supper.  This year the date fell on March 26, 2021 at sundown.  That is when we remembered the death of our Savior.  Christ at his last time to be with his disciples, the night he was arrested, Tuesday evening, they were together in one accord at the Passover Feast.

Passover isn't Easter or the Last Supper/Lord's Supper.  Christ and the 12 were seated at a table separate from the others at the Passover Feast.  Christ told his disciples he would be betrayed by one of them, arrested and hung on a cross to die for the sins of the whole world.  He showed them the emblems for his body and his blood and told them to come together once a year on that date to take the emblems, unleavened bread (unsalted crackers, no leavening) and his blood (unsweetened grape juice, fruit of the vine) until he returns.  He then got up from the table, girded himself around the waist with a towel, and washed their feet.  Judas had already been pointed out as his betrayer, and left to go to the authorities.  They sang a hymn and went out into the Garden of Gethsemane.

Christ and two of his disciples, left the other 9 behind in the garden and went up the Mount of Olives to pray.  Christ left the two about half way up, and continued on to the top alone.  He came down twice to find them asleep and was so hurt that they couldn't even stay awake long enough to pray for him.  The last time, he left them sleeping.  He had told his Heavenly Father he would go through with dying on the cross.

Him and the two disciples came down from the Mount of Olives back into the Garden of Gethsemane, where Judas and the two centurions awaited for Judas to point him out, and betray him by kissing him on the cheek. The guards arrested him and took him to Pilot to be judged.  He was in court all Tuesday night, beaten, scourged, spit on and mocked.  He was sentenced to die.  Put on a cross Wednesday morning about 9:00 a.m.  Died about the ninth hour (3:00 p.m.)  Right before sundown on Wednesday, Joseph of Arimethea begged Pilot  for Christ's body.  Joseph took him down from the cross, wrapped his body in linen and laid him in his own tomb and rolled a huge stone across the entrance.  The authorities posted two guards on each side of the mouth of the tomb, so no one could come and steal his body and say he had risen.

Christ literally remained in the tomb 3 nights and 3 days as he told his disciples he would.  You cannot get 3 nights and 3 days from Friday evening until Sunday morning.  When the women came to the tomb early the first day of the week (Sunday) they found him gone.  The angels told them "The one you seek, he has risen as he said he would.  Come and see the place where he laid."  Mary Magdalene first thought his body had been stolen.  She was in tears.  She was told to go to the city and tell his disciples the Lord has risen.  She saw a man on her way, whom she thought was the gardener.  Until he spoke her name, she didn't realize it was Jesus.  She hurried on her way to tell the disciples and met Peter and another disciple and took them back to the empty tomb. Christ went on into the city and met two disciples and ate with them.  They were blinded and didn't know it was Jesus.  Later he met with the 11 and doubting Thomas.  Christ came out of the tomb late on the Sabbath (Saturday) close to sundown.

Man has for years taught the false teaching that Christ came out of the tomb early Sunday (first day of the week) morning and we should observe that day as his resurrection.  Now how do you explain the things that are done on Easter Sunday to remember our LORD?  What does easter eggs, and bunnies, laying eggs??? have to do with the resurrection of Christ?  That was done to draw the children in. The truth needs nothing added to it to make it real.  Please study very deeply about the death and resurrection of Christ.  What you have been taught, are false teachings.  I pray your eyes will be opened.
