THE THIRD ANGEL'S MESSAGE

 The Third Angel's message is where we are today in God's historical timeline.

Revelation 14:9-12  Then a third angel followed them saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the Lamb.  And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever, and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.  Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus."

In order to understand what this Beast and his image are, you must go back into the book of Daniel, as well as refer to history because these are needed to interpret Revelation 14:9-12.  Because Daniel is a prophetic book speaking of something in the future. (I believe it speaks of the past during pagan Rome and also in the future at the New Jerusalem.)

The 'Beast' according to Daniel is a 'kingdom' starting from Babylon and working its way through history to the 'fourth Beast' which is pagan Rome. But pagan Rome is not really the issue of God's people today.  The issue for us today is the Little Horn or Little Kingdom that comes out from the middle of pagan Rome.  This kingdom is different from all the other kingdoms that came before it.

Daniel 7:7-8  After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong.  It had huge iron teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the reside with tis feet.  It was different from all of the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns.  I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before who three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots.  And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words.

'History' identifies the Little Horn as Holy Rome or the Vatican. (I believe this is in the past.)  The Vatican comes up from the middle of the ten horns, which is Rome after it fell in 476 AD and divided into ten kingdoms.

The Little Horn or Little Kingdom Papacy is the 'Harlot' in red riding the Beast and holding a golden cup in her hand.

Why is this the Little Horn called a Harlot?  Because just like God's true church is called a Virgin, the Vatican is called the Harlot and she is the perverted Church.  Why is she the perverted Church?

The Vatican is called a Harlot because she speaks Pompous words against the Most High God, persecutes the Saints and changes (thinks to change) God's times and law. (Sunday Worship).

Daniel 7:25  He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, shall persecute the Saints of the Most High and shall intend to change times and law.  Then the Saints shall be given into his hand for a time and times and a half a time.

Did the Vatican change God's times and law?  Yes it did!

Question - which is the Sabbath Day?
Answer - Saturday is the Sabbath Day. (the seventh day of the week)

Question - Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday?
Answer - We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church, in the Council of Laodicea (AD 364), transferred the solemnity from 'Saturday' to 'Sunday'.  (The Convert's Catechism of Catholic Doctrine, page 50, 3rd Edition)

" 'Sunday' is our (RCC) mark of 'authority' . . . the Church is 'above' the Bible, and this transference of  Sabbath observance is proof of that fact."  (Catholic Record of London, Ontario, September 1, 1923)

She (Catholic Church) is the woman who is riding the Beast, which means she has control over her kingdom.

The 'Beast' is a Kingdom and the Kingdom she is riding is the 'Vatican".

Revelation 17:9  This calls for a mind with wisdom.  The 'seven heads' are 'seven' hills on which the woman sits.  

The 'woman' is the Catholic Church and the 'Vatican' is sitting on 'seven' hills.

"It is written the city of Rome, called the City of Seven Hills, that the entire area of Vatican State proper is now confined."  (~Catholic Encyclopedia)

Anyway, the Papacy (Vatican) changed so many things by introducing the beliefs and practices of Babylon into the 'Church'.  This is what brings the metaphorical torment and smoke from the people who are worshipping the 'Beast'.  They are her daughters such as Baptists, Methodists, Lutherans and so on, because she is called the 'Mother of Harlots'.

The daughters of the Harlot look just like her, because they believe and teach many of the same pagan (heathen) doctrines such as the 'Trinity', eternal burning hell, Sunday as the Lord's Day, Christmas, Easter, Good Friday and so on.

If you are trying to learn about the character and nature of God, and trying to understand the Bible and follow the ways of God through what the 'Vatican' teaches, you will 'suffer' torment from the fire and brimstones.  Fire and brimstone are metaphors for the holy character of the Most High God.

All this torment is happening to those people while they are 'alive' trying to understand God through the Papacy.  They are not dead in a place called hell.  The only people who are not suffering torment are those who are keeping (all) the commandments of God and the 'faith' of Jesus.

Revelation 14:12  Here is the patience of the Saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

The 'faith' of Jesus is what Jesus taught.  It's His interpretation of Torah. (not sure I agree with the last part.)

Romans 10:17  So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

Jesus is the mouthpiece of His Father, because He was given the Spirit without limit.

John 3:34  For the one who God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives Him the Spirit without limit.

The 'Pope' speaks for the 'Serpent' who gives the Papacy its throne, power and great authority.

Revelation13:2  Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion.  the dragon gave him his power, his throne and great authority.

The 'Papacy' speaks for the 'Serpent', and they know it!

THE LIFE OF SAUL/PAUL
