TRUE POINTS OF DOCTRINE
Hello, Starlight here. Happy Sabbath. It is March 12, 2021. It is hard to believe it is already March of a new year.
What I am about to share, I tried to share on facebook earlier. I had typed a lot of what I wanted to say and started to add more. Some of it somehow got deleted. I tried to retrieve it, but lost all of it. My comments came about because of a post shared by someone else about the death of an well known Evangelist. I cannot find the post now nor remember the Evangelists name.
If we are Christians who believe in using the Bible and the Bible alone to study and be our guide, we should all agree on the interuptation of God's WORD. There is only one TRUE GOD. Our Heavenly Father. It doesn't matter where he came from, but that you believe in him and his son and trust them. He calls us from a world of Sin. There is only one True Church. The Church of God. There is only one Son and Savior, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. There is only one True Bible and it is the Book God called scribes to write down. The scribes did not write the books of the Bible as an interuptation of what God told them to write. They wrote what he commanded them to. It is the only book of instructions written for His people to use for directions on how to live and what is coming in the end.
I was going to share a lot of what I believe about what is the true doctrine of the Bible. This isn't my interuptation. It is what God has shown me as the true doctrine. Some of you may agree with parts of what I believe, but not all of it. I am sure many of you will flat out tell me I am deceived. That is okay. We have our own opinions. We all have the right to our beliefs and opinions. But there is only one true doctrine.
I want to try and give some doctrinal truths. I have already shared some of this and I have already been told Sunday is the Sabbath. I have already been told since there are many Sabbaths talked about in the scriptures how do you know which is the Sabbath to worship on. Many say God became Jesus and came to the earth in the flesh and died on the Cross. Some say Christ rose on Easter Sunday Morning. Some say the 3 nights and 3 days in the tomb was from Friday until Sunday morning. Some say Jesus was born on December 25. Some say when you die you get your judgment. You either go to Heaven or Hell. There are many others I could list, but it would take to long to go over all of it. In these comments I know I should give scriptures. I do have them, but not at my fingertips to share right now.
Let's begin. As I said before there is only one God, God the Father, the great I AM. He is the only ONE TRUE GOD. There is only one Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. God and the Son are one and equal. God and Son are both deity. God and Son will judge. But there is only ONE God and only One Son. God sent his Son to the earth to be born of a virgin. His Son was found guilty of professing to be The King of the Jews. He was rejected as the King by the Jews. He was judged and crucified on a Cross. God did not become his Son Jesus and died on the Cross.
In the first book of the Bible, Genesis, in the first chapter God had the scribes to write of the Creation of the Heavens, moon, stars, sun and the Earth, waters, seas and oceans, animals birds, fish and last man. Man was created on the sixth day. In bible time there weren't names for the days of the weeks. Each day started at sundown. That is why the Bible says the evening and the morning were the first day. The days were numbered. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. It continues on telling what he created on each of the six days. On the Seventh Day he ceased from creating and rested. He said in the 4th Commandment, Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it Holy. Six days shall you labor and do all your work, but the Seventh day is a day of rest which he hallowed it and made it Holy. On the Seventh day you were not to work at jobs, or in your homes. Neither were your children or your servants or any strangers within your gates. The Sabbath began at sundown on Friday the sixth day and ended at sundown on the Seventh Day Saturday.
Many will try to say the Ten Commandments were only for the Children of Israel and were done away with when Christ died on the Cross. I do not believe that. The Mosaic Laws, sacrificial laws and laws contained in ordinances were the ones done away with when Christ died on the cross. Not the Ten Commandments. Christ said he came not to destroy but to fulfill. All that was done away with were the laws given to man. God gave the Ten Commandments to the Children of Israel in the Wilderness. He first spoke directly to them, but they were afraid of him and ask Moses to speak to him and then tell them what God said. Moses became there mediator.
When you die do you go to Heaven? NO! Jesus said in the New Testament, that the only one who would ascended to heaven was the one who came down from Heaven. Jesus himself is the only one. When he told the thief on the cross today you will be with me in Paradise, he wasn't talking about Heaven. In scripture many times the word hell means the grave. When you die you are buried and your body returns to the dust it came from. You will cease to breath. Your breath returns to God who breathed it into you and made you a living soul. It is like you are asleep. You remain in the grave until Christ returns. You are asleep. The dead know not anything.
Jesus wasn't born on December 25. He was born around September 22, the fall of the year. If it had been winter, the sheep would have been in the fold to stay warm. The wise men sent by Herod the King did not come to the stable where Jesus was born. The Bible doesn't say how many there were. People only say three because of the gifts they brought to the King. They found him when he was about two years old and the family was in a house.
Jesus did not rise early on the first day of the week. (Sunday) Jesus was judged on Tuesday night. He was put on the Cross Wednesday morning at about 9:00 a.m. He gave up the ghost at about 3:00 p.m. The sky was dark and there was an earthquake. Joseph of Arimathea begged for his body and took it down from the Cross right before sundown. He wrapped Jesus's body in linen and took the body to his own tomb, which had never been used.
Two of the Mary's actually went to the tomb twice. Once when Joseph put the body in the tomb and then again when they went early the first day of the week (Sunday) to prepare the body for burial. On Friday the sixth day, the women began preparing the spices for the preparation of the body. Friday was the day of preparation for the upcoming Sabbath on the Seventh day. They got the spices ready, but couldn't go and prepare the body because it was the beginning of the seventh day Sabbath. They also couldn't go on the 7th day, so they waited until early the first day of the week.
As they walked toward the tomb, they were discussing how they were going to roll the huge stone away from the mouth of the tomb. When they arrived, the stone was rolled away and an Angel was sitting on the top of the door. He spoke to them and said, who are you looking for? They said our Lord. He said to them he is gone. Come and see where he laid. Mary Magdalene went in first and started to cry. Where is he? What have you done with his body? The Angel said, do you not remember what he told you? That he would be in the tomb 3 nights and 3 days and then would be alive. Go to the city (Jerusalem) and tell his disciples he has risen. There is more to the story but I will let you go and read it for yourselves.
Christ arose from the grave exactly 3 nights and 3 days as prophesied. He was put in the tomb late on Wednesday and arose late on the Seventh Day Sabbath before sundown. When the Mary's came to the tomb early the first day of the week he was already gone. So he did not rise Early Easter Sunday Morning. There is no reason to observe his birth or his resurrection. God told us to remember and observe his death.
I have shared just a few of the true doctrines of the Bible. If you do not believe what I have shared, please go and study again the True Bible and you will find, all I have shared is the truth.
God will call his people from the four corners of the earth and from every nation, kindred and tongue. The eternal Kingdom of God will be on an earth made new. So shall we will ever live with the LORD.
