PHYSICAL THERAPY

Today was time for another session of physical therapy.  Also had to go by the lab and get my blood drawn.  At the lab there was a long line ahead of me and I was waiting in the hallway for my turn.  I looked down and it was 9:56 a.m.  I was suppose to be at therapy at 10:00 a.m. on the next floor up.  I went to tell them I had to go to another appointment.  As I went to tell the nurse another one came out and called my name.  What great timing.

I am now 10 weeks out from surgery.  They are giving me more strenuous exercises.  I am now using the strength of my right shoulder and arm.  I get a little tired before I get done, but not much soreness after my session.  With missing two weeks of sessions, I have had 9 already and have 7 more left.  My last session will be March 24, 2021.

I haven't been wearing my sling all the time.  I can use my right shoulder and arm so much more, it seems to be a nuisance to wear the sling.  I go back to my surgeon next week and hope he will release me from wearing the sling.  I am feeling so much better than I was for awhile, but I need to get back on my CPAP machine.  I had to pull over and stop for a little bit driving home because I became to sleepy.  I almost didn't make it even after the stop.  Sometimes it doesn't seem the machine is helping any, but when you haven't been on it in weeks, it shows just how much you still need to stay on it.
