FIRST SABBATH BACK TO WORSHIP
Good Afternoon to all my followers. That is if I have any. LOL. If I don't have any that's okay. My Blog is just for me.
Yesterday was God's Holy Sabbath Day. Yesterday was my husband and I's first Sabbath back since last year. Haha. I had surgery on my right rotator cuff on December 21, 2020. Rick, my husband, fell at work off of the step of the truck he drives landing face first landing on his forehead, palms of his hands and his knees. Praise God he didn't get knocked out. He had a head ache but hardly any bruising on his hands and knees. Everything is better except for his hands. It has been a month since the fall, but he is in constant pain. It is hard for him to grip anything. He has pain daily. His hands hurt when he grips the steering wheel of the truck he drives, he doesn't shake hands because it hurts to grip.
It was so wonderful to be back in services with our church family. We had a nice attendance. Pastor Barry brought us a sermon Rest in God. It was about Sabbath Rest and worshiping on the 7th Day Sabbath. He made the comment that even though we keep the 4th Commandment of God "Remember the Sabbath Day and Keep it Holy, we need a refresher sermon on what God's Holy day should mean to us, as well as how it should be kept holy. We had several beautiful special songs brought before us. The service was so uplifting even before the sermon was given. I truly felt God's presence in the house.
Until next time Love Joy and Peace from our Dear Heavenly Father.
