NEW POST TO MY BLOG

 Hello, This is Connie Lynn.  I haven't been on my blog site in about a year.  I love to write but I am not really interested in having my writing published, so I decided to resurrect my blog Starlight's Journal.  I can write all I want and have a copy at my fingertips.

I cannot type much today.  I had shoulder surgery on my right shoulder on December 21.  (The arm I write with!) (That is my son's bday and I told him his present was me having surgery.  It almost got scheduled on my bday December 14. NOOO! Not on my bday. Now I thought that was kind of cute, but him? not so much.)  I cannot drive for about 6 weeks and it hurts me to type very long on the computer.  I also have to sleep sitting up.  Kind of hard to do unless you are reading and you fall asleep.  I love to read!

Well, that is about all I can take with the use of my shoulder.  I just wanted to let everyone know my blog is up and running again.  I hope you will come from time to time to read some of my writings, or just me rattling or ranting.

THE BOOK OF REVELATION

THE LIFE OF SAUL/PAUL

            Paul was born a Jew of the tribe of Benjamin.  He was also a Roman Citizen.  He was born in the Roman City of Tarsus.  In those days people had dual names.  Before he was known as apostle Paul, he was known as Saul of Tarsus.  Saul was his Hebrew name, Paul was his Roman name.  As Saul before his conversion he sought out the believers in Jesus.  He would hunt them down, bind them up and take them to Jerusalem to be killed.  Jesus did not change his name at his conversion.            Saul went to the high priest asking for letters to allow him entry into the synagogues at Damascus, so he could hunt down men and women that professed to be believers in Jesus.
