Take Comfort in knowing GOD is your Fortress, surrounding you
with His care.....
your Deliverer, giving you victory over life's troubles.........
your Shield, always loving and protecting you.
He is a Stronghold that will never fail.

"The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my high tower." Psalm 18:2.


This is so true God is our Fortress, our help in time of trouble. He will never leave or forsake you. He will always be beside you as long as you will LET HIM. That is what most people forget. You have to let God be there and in control. He gives you free will. I am finding that out more and more and I let him be in control more and more with my life. We need to pray for one another and let God be in control. That is what is wrong with our country right now. We have shoved God out of the picture. I say we, when I mean people in government and other religions. As for me, I still think God should be in every aspect of our lives.

Very thankful to God over the healing of our pastor once more. He is out of the hospital and was able to attend church Sabbath. He still isn't strong enough to be in the pulpit to preach, so we will continue having guest speakers until he is well enough. I also have another prayer request. Brother Harry Krause, a long time member of the local church, suffered a stroke Sabbath morning. He was taken by ambulance to St. John's Medical center in Tulsa, Okla. The last I had heard he was responsive, but couldn't talk and could only move his left arm some. Today I got a message from his great-nephew and he went up to see Harry. They ran some tests and Harry tested good. He will probably be in the hospital for a few days. He is responsive and alert. God is so good!

I haven't worked on any of the family history in quite some time. I am still trying to get information on the Thomasson family. I need to call Aunt Jean, she is suppose to give me what she has on the Maple and Thomasson families. I was suppose to call her several weeks ago to get the information. I got busy with other things and actually forgot to call back. I plan to do that today. I plan to post more information on here and let other family members know, it is here for them to get. I am very slow about getting this project on track.

I pray everyone has a good week. I always look forward to Sabbath and the day of rest. By the time Friday rolls around, I am ready for the Sabbath. God Bless you all.

THE BOOK OF REVELATION

THE LIFE OF SAUL/PAUL

            Paul was born a Jew of the tribe of Benjamin.  He was also a Roman Citizen.  He was born in the Roman City of Tarsus.  In those days people had dual names.  Before he was known as apostle Paul, he was known as Saul of Tarsus.  Saul was his Hebrew name, Paul was his Roman name.  As Saul before his conversion he sought out the believers in Jesus.  He would hunt them down, bind them up and take them to Jerusalem to be killed.  Jesus did not change his name at his conversion.            Saul went to the high priest asking for letters to allow him entry into the synagogues at Damascus, so he could hunt down men and women that professed to be believers in Jesus.
