GOOD MORNING ALL!!!
This is going to be a short blog today. I have been spending too much time on the computer. I am getting nothing else done. Soon my hubby will start to complain and my daughter also. Although they are on their computers as much as I am.
I need to retract something I posted last time. I was talking about my husband's cousin Billy Thomasson and how many children he had. I thought I was told there were about 18, but I think it said 7 to 8. Wow, what a mistake. They are all on facebook except for the oldest Scott. I have been informed he doesn't want to have anything to do with the Thomassons. I don't know that he even goes by Thomasson. What a sad thing. Billy has been dead about 10 years.
We still have snow on the ground. This is a rare thing anymore. We hardly get any snow, and it usually only stays about a day. It has been, I think someone said, 22 days on the ground. We haven't had this much snow or this cold of weather since the 80s. I know this was a long time ago, but back in 1952 when I was born, there was a lot of snow on the ground. At that time hospitals wouldn't let visitors stay after visiting hours. I was born at 4:15 a.m. on a Sunday morning. My dad had been working all night, and had to be woke up 3 times to let him know I was born. It was cold out and the hospital wouldn't even let my dad stay in the lobby.
For those of you who have lots of snow every winter, next year please keep it to yourselves. We aren't use to this stuff. Now in the past, we have had more trouble with ice storms. About 3 years ago we lost 2 trees due to all the ice. We had two huge willows in the back yard. It split one in the middle the other it broke most of the branches. They had to be cut down. We planted them in our yard as little sprouts, about a year after we moved in. We sure miss them.
Have a good day and God Bless you all.
