"SLEEPY, WINDY MONDAY"

As you can probably tell from my title, this is just one of those Mondays! Blah! Trying to get some things done on here before taking a nap. I keep dozing off. Can't stay awake much longer. Stayed up to late working on Prom dresses and baby afghans. Glad I am finished with the two dresses I had to alter. Now it is time to get down to business and get Cortnie a prom dress. Her prom is coming up on April 10, 2009 at the Jenks Aquarium. I haven't been there before and neither has she. It's exciting. I hope she will have a good time. Can't decide whether to make her Prom dress or buy it. Tough decission. We will be going to the city after school to look around. If we cannot find a dress, then it will be material shopping time. I hope we find one. I really don't want to make it, eventhough I know how and have done quite a bit of sowing over the years.

Sad news about a friend of my oldest daughter's. She was expecting again for the 8th time and was about 6 months along. She lost it Saturday night. She has had eight pregnancy's, but only given birth to 4 children. A boy and 3 girls. I thought they were through, but I guess not. Wow, I never wanted that many children. I had thought about four, but would have been happy with just two. They were 4 years apart and then our surprise came along about 9 years later. Oh well. God knows what is best. Please remember this family in your prayers.

I was hoping to post a little more than this, but believe it or not, I keep dozing off. I guess I need to lay down for an hour or so, before picking my daughter up from school. From there it is shopping time in the big city. I am not looking forward to the drive or the city. I do not like to shop either. Three strikes against me before I even get there. Please remember us in your prayers.

Thought I would add a few notes about our church. We are enjoying our new pastor. It is nice knowing who will be speaking and he even gives the composer of the bulletin a sermon title. He had a special prayer service this last Sabbath for the children of the church. He called all the children to the front and pick out adults to come forward and lay hands on them and pray for them. That was so neat. We had a small crowd, but still to me a very uplifting service. I guess the devil was trying to keep me from services on Sabbath. I woke up to late to make it for class, but thought oh well atleast I will make it for Worship Serivce. I was even late for that. Got ready and drove the 20 miles or so to the church. But a train had blocked the roads that I take to get there. I had to drive to the other side of town and take a different road wasting a lot of valuable time. As you can imagine, I wound up very late, but didn't miss the sermon. Thank you Lord!

Sorry to say I still haven't gotten back to the study on the Feast Days. I need to buckle down and do that. I just have too much going on at the moment to be able to sit down and concentrate on what I am reading. Unless I can concentrate, I might as well not even try to read over any of it. I won't remember what I have read. It would be a waste of time. Now I also need to be reading on the Church General Conference Prayer Initiative and Bible Study. I am already behind. It started Sabbath night. I forgot all about it.

Take care all. Maybe I will be more with it next time. I just can't keep my eyes open. I haven't even eaten Lunch yet and it is going on 1:00 p.m. It won't be long until I have to go and get my daughter. Hmmmmm! Until next posting, have a good week and God Bless!
