LATE NIGHT BLOG (OR EARLY MORNING)

The title may seem a little strange, but true. It is after midnight earthly time and early morning. Bible time it is the latter part of the day. Time being measured sundown on Friday until sundown on Saturday, or whatever day you are talking about. I need to get to bed, but wanted to get something posted on here, before I no longer have internet service in my home. I will still try and post something on here weekly, by going to the library, where I use to work, and using their computer. Please bear with me.

I was going to post something about whether or not a christian should celebrate "any" ones birthday. I had never thought about it before. I have never seen anything wrong with it myself. But it was brought to my attention that some Churches of God do not celebrate birthdays. I was given a few scriptures just this evening and haven't had time to study them. So I won't be saying any more about this subject for now.

I have been trying to come up with a way to make a little money from home, as most of you know. I am getting very discouraged with this. I am not making anything out of a few programs I have looked into and tried. I guess it is just God's will that it doesn't work out, atleast for now. Then an idea came to me this evening. Sell Avon. But I don't want to distribute the product and be on my own. I want to do it the way my mom did for many years. She works under someone else. I would like to be able to take her place. Please pray for me that this will work out, only if it is God's will. If not his will, let him send something my way.

Wow, I am about to fall asleep here. I need to go to bed! Had several thoughts in my head about what I wanted to write, until I got on here. Too much to try and remember, especially when you are half asleep, but this will be my last blog from home. I wanted the time to think a few things over before writing them down. The later it gets the slower I can think and type.
I wanted to be able to keep the internet for my businesses. Just not possible at this time.

3:36 a.m. Central Standard Time. It will be time for Daylight Savings time again real soon. Wow, can you believe that? My eyes are so heavy right now. If I don't go to bed soon, I will not want to get up all day tomorrow. That isn't good. I have a few things I really need to do. So I guess this is good-night for now.

THE BOOK OF REVELATION

THE LIFE OF SAUL/PAUL

            Paul was born a Jew of the tribe of Benjamin.  He was also a Roman Citizen.  He was born in the Roman City of Tarsus.  In those days people had dual names.  Before he was known as apostle Paul, he was known as Saul of Tarsus.  Saul was his Hebrew name, Paul was his Roman name.  As Saul before his conversion he sought out the believers in Jesus.  He would hunt them down, bind them up and take them to Jerusalem to be killed.  Jesus did not change his name at his conversion.            Saul went to the high priest asking for letters to allow him entry into the synagogues at Damascus, so he could hunt down men and women that professed to be believers in Jesus.
